Bronze Star Program

Introduction
This is the introductory level to the leadership program.  Participants develop problem-solving and decision-making skills individually and in partners. Candidates learn CPR, choking and develop the lifesaving skills needed to be their own lifeguard. Includes a timed 400 m swim.

Prerequisite
Recommended minimum 11 years of age.

Candidate recognition
Bronze Star award crest, medal and certification card (valid 24 months).
